Founded in 1979 Kings Forest Bowmen is a thriving field archery club set within beautiful Suffolk woodland, just a few miles from Bury St Edmunds and Thetford. The club has around 170 members and can boast many World, European, UK and Nationals champions both past and present.
We have three permanent 14 target courses laid out within a stunning pine forest as well as a practice range. Access for club members is 24/7 all year round, plus there are official shoots, members’ nights and opportunities to partake in competitions around the world.
Kings Forest Bowmen host an open shoot on the first Sunday of each month to which any member of the English Field Archery Association or I.F.A.A. affiliated member can attend.

Our next shoot is the EFAA Spring Championships on May 5th & 6th with a Bow inspection from 9.00am and a 10:00am start (prompt), Sunday 9.00am start. Hot food and drinks available all day for both days .
